Election 2009To vote in the Nov 3, 2009 election, you must first be a registered voter. If you are not certain if you are registered, you may contact the Registrar of Voters office at 453-8028
If you need to register, you can do this in person at Town Hall, OR you may obtain a form from Town Hall (Clerk or Registrar’s office) OR you may print one available on- line. http://www.sots.ct.gov/ElectionsServices/electforms/ed671.pdf

Note: Voter Registration MUST be received by Town Hall no later than Oct 27th, if you wish to vote on November 3rd.

Need to know your voting district?
If you are unable to appear in person to vote on Election Day, you may vote by Absentee Ballot. Your completed Ballot MUST be received in Town Hall (Town Clerk’s Office) by Election Day, Nov 3th. The simplest way to do this is to go to the Town Clerk’s office, in person, any time on or after October 2nd and complete the necessary forms and your Ballot right there on the spot. If you cannot get to the Clerk’s office because you are away (student, etc), here is how you can vote. Assuming you are already registered:
NOTE: THIS ENTIRE PROCESS MUST BE COMPLETED BY ELECTION DAY. IF USING REGULAR MAIL SERVICE, YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST TEN DAYS TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS.
